Privacy notice.
What we collect when you enquire, why we hold it, and how to have it corrected or deleted.
1. Scope
Climblocka LLC (“Climblocka”, “we”, “us”) operates climblocka.com and the associated product catalogue. This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
It does not cover purchases made on Amazon.com. When you buy from our marketplace storefront, Amazon acts as the seller of record and its own privacy notice and customer terms govern that transaction.
2. What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry, request a line sheet or ask for a sample, you provide your name, company, work email, telephone number, country and the content of your message. Wholesale discussions may add delivery addresses and tax identifiers.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, browser type, referring page, pages requested and timestamps — to keep the site available and secure. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking scripts on this site.
Cart data. Items you place in the demo cart are stored in your own browser (local storage), not on our servers, and are cleared when you clear your browser data.
3. How we use it
- To answer enquiries, quote pricing and arrange samples.
- To prepare and perform wholesale, OEM or distribution agreements.
- To operate, secure and improve the website.
- To meet accounting, tax, customs and product-safety record-keeping obligations.
- To send commercial updates where you have asked for them — with an unsubscribe link in every message.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use strictly necessary storage only. There is no advertising cookie, no cross-site pixel and no third-party analytics profile. The site loads two web-font files from Google Fonts; that request discloses your IP address to Google as a font-delivery service provider.
5. Sharing
We share personal information only where it is needed to run the business:
- Service providers — hosting, email and freight partners acting on our instructions under confidentiality terms.
- Marketplace operators — Amazon.com, for orders placed there, under its own terms.
- Professional advisers — auditors, customs brokers and lawyers where required.
- Legal requirements — where we are compelled by valid legal process, or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
6. Your rights
California residents have the right to know what personal information we hold, to request a copy, to correct inaccuracies, to request deletion, and to opt out of sale or sharing — which we do not carry out. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Residents of other jurisdictions have equivalent rights under their local law.
Send a request to privacy@climblocka.com. We verify requests using the email address associated with the enquiry and respond within 45 days.
7. Retention
Enquiry and quotation records are kept for 24 months from last contact unless a commercial relationship is established. Transaction, tax and customs records are kept for seven years. Server logs are rotated after 90 days.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry records is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfect; if a breach affects your personal information we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
9. Children
This site is intended for adults. Our nursery products are sold to parents, carers and trade buyers, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and information submitted here is processed there. Where a supplier is located outside the United States, transfers are covered by contractual safeguards appropriate to the data concerned.
11. Changes
We may update this notice as the business changes. The revision date at the top of the page always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced on this page.
