Accessibility.
The standard we hold this site to, what is already in place, the limitations we know about, and how to tell us about a barrier.
1. Our commitment
Climblocka LLC wants this website to be usable by everyone who needs it — including people who navigate by keyboard, use a screen reader, or need larger text and higher contrast. Accessibility is treated as part of the build, not a retrofit.
2. Standard we work to
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Where a requirement cannot be met with our current content, we say so below rather than claiming full conformance.
3. What we have implemented
- Semantic HTML landmarks — header, navigation, main, footer — with a skip link to the main content.
- A visible focus indicator on every interactive element, with a minimum 3:1 contrast against its background.
- Body text contrast of at least 4.5:1 against its surface; large display type kept above 3:1.
- Keyboard operation of the navigation, product filters, gallery, quantity controls and cart drawer, with focus trapping and Escape to close.
- Text alternatives on product photography that name the product and its visible configuration.
- Respect for the operating system “reduce motion” setting — scroll reveals and transitions are disabled when it is on.
- Responsive layout that reflows to a single column at 320 CSS pixels without loss of content or horizontal scrolling.
- Form fields with persistent visible labels, not placeholder-only labelling.
- Status messages announced through live regions, so an item added to the cart is reported rather than only shown.
4. Known limitations
We are still working on the following. If any of them blocks you, tell us and we will provide the information in another format within two business days.
- Some product photography carries small printed specification text inside the image. That text is repeated in the specification table on each product page, which is the accessible source.
- The location map on the contact page is a stylised illustration; the full postal address is given as text beside it and as a link to an external mapping service.
- Third-party pages we link to, including Amazon.com, are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
5. Feedback and complaints
If something on this site is difficult to use, we want the specifics — the page, the task and the assistive technology you were using.
Email access@climblocka.com or call +1 (949) 555-0142. We acknowledge within two business days and aim to resolve or provide an alternative within ten.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate in writing to the Chief Executive, Binbin Chen, at the company address below. If the matter remains unresolved you may contact the U.S. Department of Justice ADA Information Line, or your state protection and advocacy agency.
6. Review
This statement is reviewed annually, with the next scheduled review in October 2027, and after any significant change to the site’s structure or components.
